What is Breast Implant Removal/Exchange?
After undergoing breast augmentation to improve size and shape of breasts, some women may decide to have them removed or exchanged for a variety of reasons. At Peak Plastic Surgery Center in Denver, CO, Dr. Eric Barker will meet with you to discuss a customized treatment plan to ensure your goals are met.
If the goal is to remove the previously placed implants without replacing them, a breast lift may be required to ensure your breasts remain in an aesthetically pleasing position and shape. If you're wishing to return to your original breast size, breast implant removal surgery in combination with a breast lift will produce amazing results to help restore the natural appearance and texture of your breasts. Alternatively, a breast implant exchange may be ideal for patients who would like to achieve different results or whose current implants have been damaged in some way.
