Chin and Jawline Sculpting

Often times chin or jawline filler is overlooked but is very important in order to create total facial balance.
Loss of structure in these areas can cause worsening of marionette lines and jowls. Jawline and chin filler contains hyaluronic acid (HA) which is naturally found throughout the body’s natural tissues. When it is strategically placed in these areas, the proper facial structure is restored and helps to support the more superficial portions of the face.
What Filler Is Used For Chin And Jawline Sculpting?
What Can I Expect During My Appointment?
A thorough consultation will be performed by our Physician Assistant and determine if you are a good candidate for filler in the jawline or chin. Numbing cream can be applied but typically injections in this area are not overly painful and the product itself contains lidocaine. The treatment will take approximately 30-45 minutes and results can be seen immediately.
Due to the large surface area of the jawline, several syringes may be recommended to achieve optimal results. Typically, 1-2 syringes will provide natural augmentation to the chin. The areas may swell over the next several days and full results and symmetry can be assessed at 2 weeks. It is recommended to avoid alcohol, salty foods, makeup, and exercise for at least 24 hours following the procedure.
What Does Maintenance Look Like?
Typically, the first appointment requires several syringes to see optimal results and definition. Maintenance can look like 1-2 syringes every 6-12 months in order to preserve results and prevent the patient from returning back to baseline. The product used in this area typically lasts between 12-18 months. Our office prides itself on creating natural-looking results and creating customized treatment plans for each individual patient.
